"Our trip in August 2013 with Ardaga was a great experience we'll never forget. He took us to beautiful remote places, lovely villages where we got the unique experience to sleep and eat in the homes of locals. Ardaga is a very knowledgeable guide knowing the park like the back of his hand. Definitely recommendable. If you prefer serious and adventerous hiking and want a genuine experience of the park, Ardaga is the guy to contact. He knows everybody... and they all love him!" Jolande & Chris from Amsterdam |

We have spent a unique time in Brazil's Northeast throughout the month of September, 2008, with an expert for this region called arDaga. Apart from his proficient multiple language skills and his bio-geological knowledge of the region, he stands out for his ecological awareness and his solidarity with the native people. For everyone who wants to get to really know this region far away from mainstream tourism, he is definitely the right guide. rue.krau@gmx.de top |

When my friend and I decided we'd brave a trek through the Brazilian bush way off the tourist masses we as 2 female travelers were a little hesitant to stray too far away. Then we met Ardaga, and he gave us an in-depth, personal tour that was amazing! He made us feel so comfortable, and we definitely benefited from his vast knowledge of the nature and landscape of the surroundings and saw many things that I don't think just any regular tourist gets to see. I would recommend Ardaga as a guide any time - he delivers an unforgettable experience and I will always remember our trip with a smile! jennsansone@yahoo.com top |

In August 2006 we hiked across country and off the beaten tracks in the Chapada Diamantina and enjoyed it in every respect. Ardaga is a truly interesting conversationalist and has many exciting stories to share along the way and besides knows the region like the back of his hand. One is in very good hands with him. sludwig@gmx.at top |

Two original pieces of South America in one month: Ardaga has led us first through the (former) territory of the Guaraní Nation (Paraguay, Northern Argentine and Southern Brazil), and then into the off-road-world of Brazil's Northeast. It was an incredibly multifarious program, contrasting, dense in information and adventure even for "hardened" travelers like us. Ardaga is a very responsible custom tailor of tours with an unbeatable gift for improvisation. Something imperative in these remote places. heinz.reiter1@chello.at top |

Towards the end of 2007 we went on a three-month trip to South America. We started in the Chapada Diamantina where Ardaga joined and guided us for one week. His tour was superbly tailored to our wishes and skills, very authentic and individual. Ardaga is a cosmopolitan with extremely interesting thoughts. willifjwirth@gmx.de top |

ArDaga led us over "secret" paths deep into fauna and flora of deserted paradises. Really fantastic! The man is top-experienced, has suited wonderfully to our special situation as deaf-mutes, and always keeps distance to mass tourism. If we happen to return to Brazil one day, he's a "must". Many thanks arDaga and best wishes from the Bavarian-Three! Martin.Deffner@web.de top |

Ardaga is a cosmopolitan in local – Brazilian – colors, whose tours convey knowledge and the singularity of the landscape, as well as the exchanging of ideas on current issues of Brazil and the world. To be far from home and yet meet a person of our own culture group who has opted with social competence for "another life" and does multilingual tours through the scenic surroundings, is rather an exceptional experience indeed. wd.albrecht@aon.at top |

After very serious preparation and even a "test hike" requested by Ardaga to find out if the three of us work together he led my best friend and me 5 days thru the Chapada Diamantina avoiding beaten tracks. During the days we hardly met any human being and at night we stayed with local people, allowing them (and not the tour companies) to make a little extra for their living. Of course we were crushed by their hospitality, food providing and friendliness. Ardaga knows South America like hardly anybody else, takes the tours very seriously and really provides an ecological way of tourism. This all turned our tour into a fantastic, never to forget experience! rico_guler@hotmail.com top |

Dear Ardaga, We hope you are well. We just wanted to write to you to say how much we enjoyed the experience that you gave us in Brazil. We often tell people of the experiences of eating mangos in the river and sleeping under the stars. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Good luck with your adventures, gabyharris@googlemail.com top |

Dear arDaga, many thanks for the time we have spent together. Far from conventional and so-called alternative tourist tracks you have showed us a new world as a socially and politically active and visionary native sees it. It was like visiting a friend – hopefully we see each other again soon. Have a good time, Hans |

My husband and I embarked on a 4 day long walking journey with Ardaga, through the Chapada, magical place that Ardaga made us safely discover with endless passion and rounded knowledge... The trip was beyond enjoyable and Ardaga's contribution made it unforgettable... I highly recommend Ardaga's talents as a guide to anyone who is looking for the real thing!. bertaitkenhead@hotmail.com top |

Dear Ardaga: The hikes with you were certainly a highlight of my trip through Brazil. What I liked very much was that we did not do the "usual" tracks and thus did not only see the parts already crowded by tourists. Also the overnight stays with native families are a great experience. Your general knowledge about Brazil and the always entertaining discussions about anything and everything under the sun have certainly contributed to the nice atmosphere. I hope there will be a new opportunity sometime to hike again with you through the mountains of Bahia. Best wishes, Michael mail@michael-schatz.de top |

"Impossible? Impossible!" – with arDaga nothing is impossible! For seven days in September 2009 we experienced the stunning and variant nature of the Chapada Diamantina way beyond other tourists. His comprehensive knowledge of cross-cultural, social and environmental correlations brought us closer to both Brazilian history and reality. Hikes leading alongside table-mountains, cascades and natural pools, alternate with forays through thick bush or a trip to a stalactite cave. Sojourns at villagers are another great experience provided by his tours. Ardaga's knowledge about this masterpiece of creation as well as indigenous life is truly vast and he guides his entrusted folk with awesome care. Michaela.Renkl@googlemail.com top |

Ardaga has given us an understanding not only of the secrets of nature in the Chapada Diamantina but also of the region's social and political problems on a three-day hike through the fascinating landscape. We have enjoyed our trip every little bit and highly recommend him as a guide. jmock@gmx.net top |
